INSURANCE ACT, 1961.

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE OF THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF THE LIABILITIES WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER THE INSURANCE ACT, 1953 , IN RELATION TO GUARANTEES GIVEN BY THAT MINISTER WITH RESPECT TO THE INSURANCE OF RISKS IN CONNECTION WITH EXTERNAL TRADE. [3rd August, 1961.]

		BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—
[GA]	Amendment of Section 2 of Insurance Act, 1953.	1. — Section 2 of the Insurance Act, 1953 is hereby amended by the substitution of “five million pounds” for “two million pounds” in subsection (3).
[GA]	Short title and collective citation.	2. —(1) This Act may be cited as the Insurance Act, 1961.
[GA]		(2) The Insurance Acts, 1909 to 1953, and this Act may be cited together as the Insurance Acts, 1909 to 1961.
