CHAPTER 1

Preliminary

Description of assistance.

134. —(1) Assistance under this Part shall be of the following descriptions and is, in each case, so described in this Act—

(a) unemployment assistance,

(b) old age pension,

[GA]

(c) blind pension,

[GA]

(d) widow's (non-contributory) pension,

[GA]

(e) orphan's (non-contributory) pension,

[GA]

(f) deserted wife's allowance,

[GA]

(g) prisoner's wife's allowance,

[GA]

(h) social assistance allowance,

[GA]

(i) single woman's allowance,

[GA]

(j) supplementary welfare allowance.

[GA]

(2) Assistance, except supplementary welfare allowance, shall be paid out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas.
